BDCI Annual Summit

The BDCI Annual Summit is held each Spring and is a one-day event focused on the primary objectives of the BDCI:

• Expose: Research presentations from Emory faculty to present their ideas, research directions, and goals to the broader BDCI community
• Connect: Networking opportunities for BDCI members to build connections outside their home departments and research areas 
• Innovate: Collaborative brainstorming and team science opportunities, with potential for seed funding to de-risk and pilot new, interdisciplinary ideas

The inaugural BDCI Summit was held on March 7th, 2022 and drew more than 55 attendees. Focused around the theme of driving innovation in precision medicine, our brainstorming and pitch session yielded 6 new innovative projects, with 2 teams ultimately selected for seed funding!
